Our company Chr.Karafevgas-A.Stamatiadou GP with the distinctive title “ Kapa Olive Farm” has its registered office in Olynthos Chalkidiki since 2000. The beginning of the first production was made with ALMADES, black olives of Chalkidiki, from the olive groves of the family and then we expanded into the market of fresh product from producer farmers in estates from the wider area of Chalkidiki.
The love for nature and our place, pushed us to produce and process products with special care, observing all the food safety standards that are necessary for the management of the entire business turnover by applying the ISO 22000-218 Food Safety Management System. (TUV NORD HELLAS). After many efforts and personal work until today, we managed to place our products in a very good position towards the disposition of it’s consumers.
In the last three years we have also been involved in the Organic sector, cultivating privately owned estates with olive trees and in collaboration with local organic farmers, always observing the entire turnover starting from the field to the production and standardization of certified products in collaboration with BIOHELLAS with code GR-BIO-03
The types of products we have:
ALMADES® OLIVES OF CHALKIDIKI: the name ALMADES came from the way of processing because the olives are fermented and matured in barrels (for 7 months) with their own juice (brine) which is why the only material added is coarse sea salt and has this property. (Registered name)
They are harvested by hand starting from October to November when the color of the fruit on the trees has already darkened. With the traditional way of ripening the olives and with the use of only salt, the olives become unique for their fruity taste and with a high energy value.
ALMADES® OLIVES PACKAGING: vacuum 250gr. 500gr. 1kg. 2,5kg, glass jar 200gr. ALMADES® TAPENADE: made only from ALMADES black olives without any addition of recipe or aromatic material.
KALAMON: They are harvested in November depending on the maturity of the fruit.
GREEN OLIVES OF CHALKIDIKI: Their harvest begins in September and when the product is ready for consumption we can provide it packaged in many forms (WHOLE, CORELESS, FILLED by hand.)
ORGANIC GREENS OF CHALKIDIKI: The organic olives are harvested in September and there are also many forms of packaging (WHOLE, CORELESS,FILLED by hand.).
The harvest of all types of olive also depends on the weather conditions.
